Joining the Giving Tree means you are committing to lifting up another family in need during the holiday season. You will be given an anonymous wish list from a family with students within the Poway Unified School District. 

Each family wish list will include: Age of child(ren), Clothing and Shoe sizes, Clothing Needs, School Supply needs, Child Gift Ideas, Family Household needs, Gift Card ideas

Your contribution would include: 

(1) outfit per child,  (1) pair of shoes per child, (1) gift of school supplies per child, (1) fun gift per child,  (1) household gift per family, (1) Gift card per family

Example: If your family wish list includes 3 children, a contribution could be: 3 sweatshirts, 3 pairs of pants, 3 pairs of shoes, 3 sets of markers, 3 basketballs, 1 toaster, 1 gift card to Wal-Mart

Per child: $100-$125 (includes shoes, outfit, school supplies, fun gift)

Family: $100 (includes family household ask and gift card)

Example: If your family wish list includes 3 children, your spending may range between $400-$475

We have families as small as a single child, up to many children.  If you would like to make a specific request, please contact us with the number of children you would like in your family, and any ideas of ages and gender.

 Absolutely!  We see this all the time.  It's a great way to share the holiday spirit of giving with others and build community.  Contact us with your commitment level, and we'll connect you with a family (or families) that will fit your needs

• Ask for a gift receipt (especially for clothes and shoes)

• Please donate new items only, with tags attached

• Keep Gift Card receipts with the Gift Cards

• Give yourself enough time to label the gifts (by child), pack and deliver

• Deliver the gifts UNWRAPPED, labeled, along with the gift cards and gift receipts 

Plan to shop early, as we will be collecting gifts from December 4th - December 13th. If you are not able to meet the deadline, please contact us or look for other ways to give here!
